Murphy Swings Away at Ciattarelli in Negative Third TV Ad
Murphy for Governor today launched its third General Election television ad — “Repeated” — highlighting – according to the Murphy Campaign – how Republican gubernatorial nominee Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli has consistently undermined lifesaving public health measures and prioritized extreme politics over science while repeating Trump’s discredited lies on COVID-19.
“Assemblyman Ciattarelli’s out-of-touch and dangerous Trump-style approach to the pandemic reflects his actual public health positions, including his opposition to vaccine requirements for childhood diseases like mumps and measles. Ciattarelli has doubled down on his COVID-19 stance, downplaying the seriousness of the virus — with a jaw-dropping and demonstrably false claim: ‘Children are not vulnerable to this virus.’”
Watch “Repeated”
Murphy, the incumbent Democratic governor and GOP challenger Ciattarelli clashed Tuesday in their first debate of the season.
Polls show Murphy leading hs rival pretty handily, but sources say internal polls show a closer contest.
Ciattarelli has repeatedly noted that the Murphy Camp’s propensity for negativity points to a real contest, despite considerable voter registration advantages for Democrats over Republicans.
