Tave Padilla, A’Dorian Murray-Thomas, and Shayvonne Anderson win seats on the Newark Public Schools Board of Education.

Newark Elections tonight resulted in a victory by the unity ticket, “Moving Schools Forward.”

The sleepy, low-turnout election produced convincing wins for “Moving Schools Forward” allies Tave Padilla, A’Dorian Murray-Thomas, and Shayvonne Anderson, according to the Essex County Clerk’s Office.

Running for reelection on the “Children Over Politics” team, Leah Owens lost her seat tonight.
