In addition, New Jersey suffered 253 more deaths, bringing the statewide total to 5,617.

“Even if we cross 100K, there are tens of thousands who have beaten COVID-19,” Murphy said.

He again reiterated the need for New Jerseyans to stay and home and maintain social distance.

“We have to work together to lighten this map,” said the governor. “The toll of this disease in terms of loss of life remains staggering.”
