New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation Elects New Executive Members for 2024

[Jersey City] — The New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation is pleased to announce the election of its new executive members during a board meeting held on December 20, 2023.
Leadership Team for 2024:

– Chair: Senator Angela V. McKnight (continuing)
– 1st Vice Chair: Dr. Diane Hill
– 2nd Vice Chair: Brian Quinn
– Treasurer: Regina Appolon
– Secretary: Eddie Gittens

The executive members, including Senator Angela V. McKnight as Chair, Dr. Diane Hill as 1st Vice Chair, Brian Quinn as 2nd Vice Chair, Regina Appolon as Treasurer, and Eddie Gittens as Secretary, were elected unanimously by the board members to serve a two-year term.

“We are thrilled to continue having Senator Angela V. McKnight at the helm as Chair. Under her visionary leadership, the foundation has successfully expanded its footprint throughout the state. I am confident in the executive committee’s ability to lead the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus Foundation to new heights in the coming year,” said Assemblywoman Shavonda Sumter, Chair, of the New Jersey Legislative Black Caucus.

The board expresses gratitude to the outgoing members for their dedicated service and looks forward to continued success under the guidance of the newly elected leadership team.

  1. NJ Black Causcus. Perhaps we also need a White Caucus. How about a Christian or Jewish Caucus. We can have separate caucuses for everything, in the name of diversity and inclusion.

    Or maybe, just maybe, all individual members of Congress can make some efforts to be American. The legislature is supposed to be a place of debate, discussion and resolution.

    This perpetual division achieves nothing and adds to racial and religious divided.
