Over 10,000 Newarkers in the Central Ward have voted already and they keep coming, according to a source in the city.

Huge turnout, said the source.

Essex County Clerk Chris Durkin confirmed as much, noting that Essex turnout is significantly exceeding  2014 turnout.

Turnout is also high in suburban areas, where Republicans are trying to stem an energized tide of anti-Trump Democrats.
