Gathered at party headquarters in Hackensack, LD38 Democrats tonight unanimously selected Joe Lagana as the senate replacement for Bob Gordon.

Gordon has a scheduled Senate Confirmation Hearing tomorrow, on the same day that Lagana will assume the oath of office as his replacement.

As part of the LD38 shakeup, Bergenfield Council President Arvin Amatorio is expected to snag Lagana’s vacated Assembly seat and Fair Lawn Mayor Lisa Swain is the expected replacement for retiring Assemblyman Tim Eustace (D-38).
