Steve Adubato asks Attorney General Platkin about issues surrounding violent crime and what should state government should do to fight back. Platkin responds “We are extremely focused here under Governor Murphy’s leadership and in our department in tackling a rise in crime, and I’m proud that in NJ we’ve bucked the national trends. We have invested in violence intervention efforts, we have deployed our law enforcement resources effectively, we use an incredible intelligence sharing network to go after the individuals who are truly violent.” Platkin continues to talk about the significant reduction of shootings in the state in all cities across NJ.
