NJ Citizen Action Says Democratic Party should Withdraw Backing from Van Drew

Van Drew
New Jersey Citizen Action released this statement today following Congressman Jeff Van Drew’s (D-2) vote against formalizing the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump.

“New Jersey Citizen Action is calling the New Jersey Democractic Party to replace Jeff Van Drew as the Democratic candidate in the 2nd Congressional District,” said Phyllis Salowe-Kaye, Executive Director of New Jersey Citizen Action. “Representative Van Drew does not uphold the values of Democratic Party and does not deserve its backing. President Trump  stands accused of impeachable offenses that, if true, would undermine the very foundation of our democracy and an impeachment inquiry must be pursued. While disappointed in Van Drew we are pleased that all members of the Democratic House Caucus except two voted to affirm the impeachment inquiry.”

New Jersey Citizen Action is a statewide advocacy and social service organization that fights for social, racial and economic justice for all while also meeting the pressing needs of low and moderate income New Jerseyans through education and direct service.

  1. Why? Because he voted against the biggest SHAM in the history of politics?! Good for him!!!! Other Democrats should have HALF the spine Jeff Van Drew has!!!

  2. Why because he understands what the DNC has is yet again another nothing burger. All dems are pathetic. I hope the guy swaps parties to become a republican now. You keep believing in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th hand information. Absolutely pathetic

  3. Schiff and Pelosi did not represent America Democratic spirit! Van Drew & Peterson’s no impeachment is to support American core value. They both must be supported by all conscious citizens to resolve the gap of antiTrump v ProTrump political stance. ✍️
