Oliver Threatens to Lose Audience with References to the Classics

Assemblywoman Sheila Oliver (D-34) blew the minds of twitter-glutted audience members at the Democratic State Conference this afternoon when she quoted prodigiously from her high school reading list.

The clearly literate Oliver sprinkled quotes from her favorite books into a well-received speech, touching on, among others, the following texts:

Of Mice and Men

Grapes of Wrath

A Tale of Two Cities

  1. This is news? Why aren’t we talking about Oliver’s secret trip to Cuba where she didn’t even bother to ask for the extradition of Joanne Chesimard, Cop Killer?

  2. or how about how she voted for paying more into health insurance and pensions or how she couldn’t be found when their was a state shutdown she didn’t vote at all and she couldn’t be found to vote or the real reason she was really picked is a tale of multiple cities lol
