U.S. Representatives Bill Pascrell (D-9), Frank Pallone (D-6), Donald Norcross (D-1), and Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-12) joined 54 other Democrats today in voting against tabling a resolution to impeachment President Donald J. Trump.

The motion succeeded over their objections by a vote of 364 to 58.

Rep. Al Green (D-Tex.) went to the House floor at 12:13 p.m. Wednesday to offer articles of impeachment under special House rules requiring a floor vote; he returned to the floor at 1:34 to force that vote, according to this Washington Post story.

  1. Stupid is as stupid does. If President’s could be impeached for saying things you don’t like or agree with, we would have had 44 impeachments by now, not 2. Just more political grandstanding at the taxpayers’ expense. And they wonder why the voters rejected all of the members of the professional political “elite” for president last year. The Inside the Beltway mentality is scary and out of touch with the nation.
