Pocino introduces Gesslein at Monmouth Kickoff

Over 200 residents came out to Monmouth County Freeholder candidate Amber Gesslein’s Kickoff tonight in Asbury Park. Gesslein was introduced by Laborers head Ray Pocino and state Senator Vin Gopal (D-11), and Democrats raised over $30,000 for their freeholder campaign.

Gesslein, an Eatontown resident, is PAC Coordinator for the Laborers Union. She is running with attorney Larry Luttrell.

Their opponents are Freeholder Gerry Scharfenberger and Hazlet Deputy Mayor Sue Kiley. Republican Freeholder John Curley has announced he will run as an independent.
