Residents Choose to Keep Hunterdon, Hunterdon With Republican Victories

Statement by Hunterdon County Republican Chairman Gabe Plumer:

The Republican victories in Hunterdon County on November 5th are not only a win again for all residents of Hunterdon County, but also an overwhelming endorsement of the Republican leadership team that has helped to keep Hunterdon, Hunterdon.

Hunterdon County voters once again put their trust in Commissioners Jeff Kuhl and Susan Soloway and endorsed the continued conservative fiscal philosophy that has helped to keep Hunterdon among the healthiest, safest, and best run counties in America.

Taxpayers have also reaffirmed Republican policies that include a debt-free decade, which has saved County taxpayers $4.5 million in interest payment avoidance, cutting the tax rate to 2015 levels, and leveraging Hunterdon County’s strong financial position to make historic investments in local infrastructure, open space, and public safety across the County.

Hunterdon County will continue to be a great place to live as Hunterdon County continues to build a new era of partnership with municipalities.
