Jersey City, NJ – Over 20 Evangelical Ministers of diverse denominational affiliations to unite to call on Governor Murphy to demand a public apology from Noemi Velazquez, his Aide and founding member of Latinas United For Political Empowerment Fund and PAC.  “Although Ms. Velazquez’s apology addresses one specific conversation she had on social media, we wonder whether we should assume that this apology extends to all other offensive comments about Evangelicals posted she posted on her page,” stated Rev. Bolivar Flores, a Jersey City Pastor and Public Relations Director of the Hispanic Pastors Coalition of New Jersey.

At the 2:00PM Press Conference, which will be held at Rev. Bolivar’s Church, Ministerio El Sol Sale Para Todos Internacional, located at 43 Morton Place, Jersey City, NJ 07304 the Pastors will seek answers to the following questions:

• When will a public apology be officially presented to Pastors, the media, and on Ms. Velazquez’s personal page, and on the official websites for the organizations she leads?
• If she refuses to offer a sincere apology accepting total responsibility for all of her remarks, will Governor Murphy allow her to continue to serve on his Administration?
