32BJ SEIU Condemns ICE Raid on Newark Business

Newark, N.J. — The following statement is from Ana Maria Hill, New Jersey State Director for 32BJ SEIU, the largest property service workers union in the country, with 185,000 members along the East Coast and 15,000 in New Jersey.

"Raids on workplaces are cruel and destabilizing. Hardworking people shouldn't have to fear making a living for their families. And children shouldn’t have to fear that their parents aren’t going to come home from work. 32BJ SEIU is ready to support our members and immigrants whose presence and essential work enrich our communities and our economies.”
