“Adrian Mapp is an experienced leader who has been a true friend to working people.  He has marched side by side with our members and has been a vocal supporter of worker’s rights and civil rights.  Under Mapp’s leadership, Plainfield implemented an earned sick time law so that workers can take time off if they’re sick or need to care for an ill loved one.  And city officials declared Plainfield a “fair and welcoming” city so that local law enforcement would not assist federal immigration officers with deportation.  Mapp deserves another term so he can build on this success.  That’s why 32BJ SEIU is proud to endorse Adrian Mapp for Mayor of Plainfield.”
