Absecon Municipal Leader Endorses Fitzherbert

South Jersey’s Harry Hurley reports that Brian Fitzherbert has announced his candidacy in Congressional District 2. Last year, Fitzherbert vied for the GOP nomination in a crowded primary, but was knocked off the ballot after rival Hirsh Singh challenged his petition signature.

Absecon Municipal Leader Endorses Fitzherbert

Egg Harbor Township –Brian T. Fitzherbert, who is seeking the Republican nomination in New Jersey’s Second Congressional District, announced the endorsement of Absecon Republican Municipal Leader Rodney Ruark.

Leader Ruark voiced his support saying, “I have gotten to know Brian through his work in our community in Atlantic County. He has done a great job building the Young Republican organization and has supported the party throughout South Jersey. As a business owner, I appreciate Brian’s strong support for building our economy through the conservative principles of smaller government, cutting taxes and less burdensome regulation. Most importantly, Brian understands South Jersey as the unique and wonderful place we both call home. That is why I endorse Brian Fitzherbert for Congress.”

“I am very pleased to have Rodney’s support. He is a tremendous advocate for South Jersey and I look forward to working with him on the campaign. This endorsement is another clear signal that our message of core conservative values is resonating with voters,” said Fitzherbert.

New Jersey’s 2nd Congressional District covers all of Atlantic, Cape May, Cumberland and Salem Counties, as well as parts of Gloucester, Ocean, Burlington, and Camden Counties.
