ACLU-NJ in Trenton on Marijuana, Donor Disclosure, and Compensation for Wrongfully Convicted

TRENTON – ACLU-NJ Executive Director Amol Sinha will appear in Trenton today to call for racial justice in marijuana legalization for adults, to raise concerns about constitutional threats posed by a bill demanding disclosure of donors to nonprofit organizations dealing with social issues, and to advocate for expanded compensation to people who have been wrongfully convicted.

  • Marijuana legalization and donor disclosure: Assembly Appropriations Committee, 12 noon
  • Marijuana legalization: Senate Judiciary Committee, 2 p.m.
