Acting Governor Tahesha Way to Sign Bill Honoring State Troopers Fraternal Association

TRENTON, N.J. – On Tuesday, October 3rd at 11:30 a.m., New Jersey’s Acting Governor, Tahesha Way, will sign bill AJR224/SJR123 into law. The bill, passed unanimously by the New Jersey legislature, commemorates the 60th anniversary and the remarkable achievements of the State Troopers Fraternal Association, the largest New Jersey State Police association.

Acting Governor Way will sign the bill during the 123rd Conference of the National Troopers Coalition, held at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The bill signing ceremony, open to conference attendees and included in the program, will be held in the Mambo room within the Havana Tower Conference Center.

Distinguished guests, all of whom will be available for commentary before and after the signing, will include:

-Wayne Blanchard, President of the State Troopers Fraternal Association
-Senator Linda Greenstein (D-14)
-Assemblyman Wayne P. DeAngelo (D-14)
-Nate Johnson, Chairman of the National Troopers Coalition

The National Troopers Coalition, representing over 43,000 dedicated state troopers from across the nation, gathers annually to discuss important matters concerning law enforcement. This year’s conference will witness a historic moment as Acting Governor Way pays tribute to the State Troopers Fraternal Association, which consistently provides the highest standard of service, protection, and integrity to New Jersey’s citizens and visitors.

Wayne Blanchard, President of the State Troopers Fraternal Association, expressed his gratitude for the recognition, stating, “We are deeply honored to receive this acknowledgment of our service and commitment to New Jersey’s state troopers.
