Adriano Espaillat Endorses Bill Pascrell for Congress
PATERSON, NJ – Congressman Adriano Espaillat, the first Dominican-American ever elected to the U.S. House of Representatives, today endorsed Bill Pascrell, Jr.’s campaign for Congress.
“Bill Pascrell is the real deal: a straight-talker who gets things done in the Capitol but never loses focus for his district,” said Congressman Espaillat. “I stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Bill when we traveled to an ICE facility and watched Bill literally bang on the door demanding we be let in. That’s leadership. North Jersey has one of the largest, most vibrant Dominican-American communities in the entire nation and Bill is a champion for them in Washington. The people of New Jersey are lucky to have him in office and I endorse Bill’s campaign 100 percent.”
“I am humbled by my friend Congressman Espaillat for his confidence,” said Congressman Pascrell. “His rise in Congress has been an inspiration to so many here in northern New Jersey. Adriano and I have built a strong and effective relationship working for the people of the metropolitan area and with a successful election this year there is so much more we can accomplish together for our diverse communities.”
