AFP-NJ Applauds Lawmakers for Introducing Pension Reform

Trenton, NJ — Americans for Prosperity acting state director, Tony Howley, issued the following statement prior to Senate President Sweeney’s address on Path to Progress proposals:

“At AFP-NJ we have long-called for state lawmakers to work together to solve our pension crisis. We applaud Senate President Sweeney for seeking solutions that will shore up the Garden State’s failed pension system and encourage lawmakers to consider proposals that will ensure that funds are rightly directed to essential services for all New Jerseyans.”
