All NJMVC Facilities Will Be Closed Monday, July 4 for the State Holiday

TRENTON – All New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission (NJMVC) facilities will be closed Monday, July 4, in observance of the state holiday.

This includes:

  • Licensing and Vehicle Centers
  • Regional Service Centers
  • road testing sites
  • inspection stations

All NJMVC facilities will be open for regular operating hours the rest of the week, including on Saturday, July 2.

The NJMVC.gov website is open 24 hours a day, allowing customers to complete about 80% of all NJMVC transactions online at their convenience.

New Jersey residents seeking motor vehicle services should always visit the website first to access more than 30 online services, schedule required appointments for in-person services and driver testing, and resolve the most common NJMVC-related customer concerns.
