Americans for Prosperity and Jersey 1st Announce Partnership to Advance Economic Freedom Across New Jersey

PARSIPPANY, NJ—Americans for Prosperity, a national grassroots organization dedicated to promoting economic freedom and individual liberties, announced its partnership with Jersey 1st, an organization focused on serving New Jersey families and businesses by advocating for economic policies that drive New Jersey toward a better future.

AFP Northeast Director Ross Connolly made the following statement:

“We are proud to partner with Jersey 1st, an organization that shares our goal of promoting freedom and prosperity for all. This partnership is an opportunity to capitalize on our resources and advance policies that put hardworking New Jersey families and businesses first. AFP is committed to reigniting the American dream across the nation, especially here in New Jersey. We look forward to all we will accomplish working alongside Jersey 1st in this fight for freedom.”

Jersey 1st President and Founder Rosemary Becchi made the following statement:

“Jersey 1st and Americans for Prosperity share the common goal of advocating for the best interests of New Jersey taxpayers, businesses, and families.  For far too long, Garden State politicians have been crushing taxpayers with higher taxes, increased regulations, and wasteful spending. Jersey 1st and AFP will work together to speak out against these unaffordable policies and promote common-sense reforms to make New Jersey a state where families and businesses can grow and thrive.”

In the coming months, the organizations plan to work with lawmakers, political leaders, and community leaders to promote policies in the best interest of the people of New Jersey. The organizations will host community groups and other events to raise awareness on the importance of economic freedom and the impact of overbearing government regulations.
