Amy Kennedy Announces District Wide Virtual Town Hall Series: 8 Counties, 8 Weeks, 1 South Jersey

Brigantine, NJ –  This week, Amy Kennedy launched 8 Counties, 8 Weeks, 1 South Jersey, a district wide virtual town hall series. Amy is also touring small businesses in every county of the district to learn about the impacts of the pandemic on small business owners.

Amy Kennedy said, “The pandemic has changed a lot in our communities, including how we are campaigning. One thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to reaching out to the people of South Jersey, to listening to the struggles and challenges people are facing and to providing productive solutions to help.”

“For too long the people of South Jersey have been ignored by our representatives in office. Now more than ever, we need real leadership that will serve the people, not themselves.”

“In these difficult times, South Jersey needs someone in Congress who will listen to all their constituents,” said  Bob Fritz, Salem County. “By touring every county in the district and meeting with residents and local business, Amy has shown she is dedicated to representing all of us.”

Amy’s virtual town hall series comes in addition to a district wide tour of small businesses across South Jersey. The series started last week with a virtual town hall in  Salem County and continues on Wednesday with an Ocean County virtual town hall.
