Amy Kennedy For Congress Campaign Launches New TV Ad

“In Congress, I’ll fight for affordable health care, lower drug prices and relief from this economic crisis.”

Brigantine, NJ – Tomorrow, the Amy Kennedy for Congress campaign will launch a new television advertisement.  The ad, entitled “Matters,” which is in Amy Kennedy’s own voice, introduces herself to voters and talks about the fact that people in South Jersey are struggling and that “real leaders serve the community not themselves.”  Amy tells voters that, in Congress, she will fight for affordable health care, lower drug prices and relief from the economic crisis.

This ad is a continuation of the positive campaign Amy has been running focused on serving her community during COVID-19 and offering ideas and detailed proposals on what she will do in Congress to help people here in South Jersey.  The ad will run on Philadelphia broadcast television and on cable television in all the counties in NJ2.  The ad can be viewed here. The script of the ad is as follows:

I’m Amy Kennedy.  I’m a mom, former public school teacher, mental health advocate and now I’m a candidate for Congress.

Before COVID, too many people were struggling.

Now we have a full-blown emergency.

Real leaders serve the community not themselves.

In Congress I’ll fight for affordable health care… lower drug prices…

…Relief from this economic crisis.

And I’ll continue the Kennedy legacy of putting people first.

I am Amy Kennedy and I approve this message.

Ballots will be mailed to voters as early as May 30th with voting beginning shortly after.  This ad launching tomorrow builds on the momentum of Amy’s campaign after winning the endorsements of CWA, the Atlantic County Democratic Committee, CHC Bold-Pac, NJ WFA, NJEA and End Citizens United.
