Amy Kennedy Endorsed by National Association of Social Workers
Brigantine, NJ — Today, the National Association of Social Workers (NASW-PACE: Political Action for Candidate Election), announced their endorsement of Amy Kennedy, candidate for New Jersey’s second Congressional district.
The NASW is the largest membership organization of professional social workers in the world, with more than 110,000 members, including the New Jersey chapter.
“I’m honored to have NASW’s endorsement. As a mother and as a teacher, I know how important it is to have such dedicated advocates for our communities. In Congress, I’ll fight alongside our social workers, ensuring that our most underserved populations have the protections they need and that everyone, regardless of where they come from, has the opportunity to thrive in South Jersey.”
“NASW works to strengthen and protect our workforce and to protect underserved communities. We know how important it is to have leaders who are ready to serve their communities,” said Mary Jane Lundgren, MSW, RN, NASW-PACE Chair. “Amy Kennedy is committed to service and justice, and we know she will be a champion for the needs of workers and families. We are proud to endorse Amy, who leads with integrity and compassion and a vision for justice for all.”
