Andy Kim Announces Endorsement of Teamsters Local 676 and Joint Council 53 for 2020 Reelection

MARLTON, NJ – Today, Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) announced the endorsement of the members of Teamsters Local 676 and Joint Council 53, demonstrating the strong backing of New Jersey’s working families for his reelection campaign.

“I’m honored to have the support of the working men and women of Teamsters Local 676 and Joint Council 53,” said Kim. “Working people built this country and deserve a Congress that looks out for them and not partisan, corporate interests. I’m proud to be a voice for New Jersey’s working people and a staunch advocate for their rights to organize, for a fair day’s pay for a hard day’s work, and for serious infrastructure investment in our country that will support our communities and create good paying jobs. They know I’ve got their back, and I’m proud that they’ve got mine.”

In addition to Teamsters Local 676 and Joint Council 53, Kim has also been endorsed by The International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers of New Jersey, The International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers (IFPTE), and the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW).

“Our members know who Andy stands with, and that’s with the working people of New Jersey,” says President Howard Wells. “We trust him to do the right thing for working families. He’s been a leader on Butch Lewis, a fighter for us and we’ll fight just as hard for him.”

Adding to his formal endorsements, Kim has the support of the American Postal Workers Union, the National Treasury Employees Union, the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association, and the Air Line Pilots Association, among others.

In addition to receiving key endorsements from New Jersey’s working families, Andy Kim has also been listed as part of the DCCC’s Frontline program and has been endorsed by End Citizens United PAC, VoteVets, League of Conservation Voters, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, and Foreign Policy for America, among other organizations.

Furthermore, Kim has raised more than $550k in every quarter of 2019, with a total of more than $2 million raised in the 2020 election cycle.
