Andy Kim to Hold Campaign Kickoff Rally in Marlton

MARLTON, NJ – Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) will officially launch his reelection campaign at a rally in Marlton on Saturday March 14th, at 2pm. The rally will be held at Rice Elementary, the public school the congressman attended in the Kings Grant neighborhood where he grew up.

“Representing New Jersey in Congress means never forgetting where you came from or who you fight for,” said Kim. “I ran for Congress because I saw Washington insiders and corporate money have a greater voice than our neighbors; I’m running for reelection so that never happens again. This campaign has always been about the people of Burlington and Ocean Counties, and I look forward to standing with them where my story began to launch our campaign.”

Congressman Kim will be joined by local leaders and people from across Burlington and Ocean Counties to demonstrate the strong grassroots support that helped him win in 2018. Without taking support from corporate PACs, Kim raised $900,000 in Q4 of 2019, $2.7 million total, and has more than $2.2 million cash-on-hand, putting him in a strong position to win reelection. Of individual donations to Kim’s campaign, 90 percent were $100 or less.

Congressman Kim has been endorsed by a large coalition of local labor groups,  government reform groups, national security and veterans groups, progressive groups, and advocacy organizations.
