Andy Kim Raises Over $1.1 million in First Six Months of 2019

MARLTON, NJ – Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03), a freshman member of Congress and a member of the ‘majority-maker’ class in the House of Representatives, announced that he’s raised more than $1.1 million in the first six months of 2019. Following a strong first fundraising quarter, Kim brought in $572k in the second quarter of the year.

“From the beginning, this campaign has been powered by people, not special interests. We’ve seen that again over the past three months through the incredible grassroots effort demonstrated by our supporters,” said Kim. “No matter where I am across Burlington and Ocean Counties, I hear from people that they want someone fighting for them. It’s why I’m working hard every day to make health care more affordable and bad actors more accountable. I want to thank everyone who has stood with me and assure them I will never stop fighting for New Jersey in Washington.”

Without taking a dime from corporate PACs, Kim has nearly $1 million cash-on-hand, putting him in a strong position to hold what the Cook Political Report has labeled a ‘toss-up’ race.

Congressman Kim has been listed as part of the DCCC’s Frontline program and has been endorsed by End Citizens United PAC, VoteVets, League of Conservation Voters and Foreign Policy for America, among other organizations.

Congressman Kim grew up in Marlton, NJ and lives in the district with his wife, Kammy, and two young children. He previously served at the White House National Security Council and as a strategic adviser to top generals in Afghanistan.
