ARATI FOR CONGRESS BREAKS FUNDRAISING RECORD, RAISES OVER $192,000 FOR PRE-PRIMARY DEADLINE

Glen Rock, NJ – Today, the Arati for Congress campaign announced its fundraising totals for the pre-primary reporting period which began April 1st and ended June 17th.

With $192,484 raised and $144,561 cash-on-hand with just over 2 weeks to go before the July 7th Democratic primary, the campaign broke its previous fundraising record by over 70% and demonstrated it has the resources needed to get Arati’s message directly to voters during the home stretch. The campaign raised over $50,000 in the three days after Bernie Sanders endorsed Arati on June 15th.

“With over 7,500 contributions averaging just $24, I’m proud to have raised more from grassroots small donors than any other NJ-5 candidate. This is an unprecedented moment, and our momentum is growing as voters respond to our message of electing a real Democrat who believes in healthcare for all, bold climate action, and refusing corporate PAC contributions.” said Arati Kreibich.
