ARATI KREIBICH CELEBRATES SUPREME COURT RULING ON DACA

Glen Rock, NJ – Earlier today, the Supreme Court made a historic ruling against the Trump administration’s cruel attempt to end DACA. Dr. Arati Kreibich released the following statement:

“I’m thrilled to join immigrants and allies everywhere in celebrating this important victory. We still need to legislate DACA and must fight to do so, but this is a crucial decision which sets the stage for future progress.

“The significance of this moment is not lost on me as an immigrant and proud naturalized citizen running for Congress against an anti-immigrant incumbent. Josh Gottheimer was one of just six ‘Democrats’ to vote with Republicans on a spending package which did not resolve the future of DACA. He has undermined protections for kids in cages and sided with Trump on funding the border wall. If we want real change in Washington, we need to send real Democrats who will fight for all of us.”
