Assembly Candidate Jeffrey Brown Renews Calls for Elected Leaders to Condemn Sam Khan, Following Defense of Jihad on Anniversary of 9/11

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Edison, NJ- District 18 Assembly candidate Jeffrey Brown renewed his call for elected officials to condemn Edison Democrat Sam Khan, and for Mr. Khan to be removed from the Edison planning board following his defense of Jihad on the anniversary of 9/11.

“I would like to reiterate my call for Democrats in Edison, including Assembly members Pinkin and Karabinchak, to condemn Sam Khan for his hateful remarks and defense of jihad.  Yesterday’s statement on the anniversary of 9/11 shows this is not some cultural misunderstanding, but rather Khan draws support from and perhaps sympathizes with some of the most radical among us,” stated Brown.  “Hate has no place in New Jersey in 2019.  The Democrats refusal to act is an act of political cowardice that shows they do not have the best interests of their residents in mind.
