Joint Panel Discussion – Assembly Transportation and Independent Authorities and Environment Committees – On Use of Plug-in Electric Vehicles
(TRENTON) – Gradually raising the state minimum wage to $15 by 2024, establishing a savings plan for certain workers, credentialing sober living homes and voting on the six bills as part of the Assembly fight against food insecurity are among legislation to be reviewed during Monday’s Assembly Committees.
The Assembly Transportation and Independent Authorities Committee and the Assembly Environment and Solid Waste Committee will meet jointly to receive testimony from invited guests concerning electric vehicles. The committees will also receive testimony from the public on Assembly Bill No. 4634, which would establish goals, initiatives, and programs to encourage and support the use of plug-in electric vehicles. The meeting begins at 9:30 AM in Committee Room 11, 4th Floor, State House Annex.
