(TRENTON) – Protecting residents affected by federal government shutdown from negative credit reports, requiring general and special hospitals, nursing homes and home health workers to offer influenza shots, and mandating boil water notices to be presented to the mayor and town clerk within an hour are also on Monday’s committee agendas.

The Assembly Health and Senior Services Committee will hear testimony from invited guests about Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield’s new policy requiring preauthorization for certain obstetrical and non-obstetrical ultrasound procedures. The committee will meet at 10:00 AM in committee room 15, 4th Floor.

The Assembly Oversight, Reform and Federal Relations Committee will receive testimony from invited guests in the alcoholic beverage industry concerning whether and how the State should streamline the licensing system from an economic, social, and regulatory perspective.   The committee will meet at 1:00 PM in committee room 12, 4th Floor.
