Assembly to Convene First In-person Voting Session Monday Since Mid-March

Speaker Craig Coughlin says he opposed a millionaire's tax going back to October of last year, and money dumping into New Directions NJ's millionaire’s tax campaign didn’t alter his essential attitude.

Assembly to Convene First In-person Voting Session Monday Since Mid-March; Continues Work on COVID-19 Response Measures & Reviews State Budget Extension Bill

 

(TRENTON) – The General Assembly will have a voting session on Monday, June 29, 2020. Caucus is scheduled for 9:00 AM via teleconference. The General Assembly voting session will begin at 1:00 PM.

Due to the public health emergency, the State House Annex remains closed to visitors and the public will not be allowed to attend the meeting in person.

**Note: Reporters wishing to be in the State House for the voting session are encouraged to enter the building through the Annex at the door nearest the Legislative parking area. Media is to wear masks while in the building. Due to capacity limits and the need to socially distance, media will not be permitted in the Assembly Chamber or 2nd floor Gallery. Room 109 across from the Assembly Chamber is available for media use, however audio and video feeds are not available.
