Higher Education Chair Jasey Holds Hearing on
Campus Sexual Assault Report
Assembly Panel to Receive Testimony from State Task Force
(TRENTON) – Assembly Higher Education Chair Mila Jasey (D-Essex, Morris) has invited members of the New Jersey Task Force on Campus Sexual Assault to discuss recommendations made in their report, “Addressing Campus Sexual Violence: Creating Safer Higher Education Communities.”
The committee heard testimony last session from the task force on their preliminary findings and now, will identify the recommendations in the final report which require legislative action. The report was released on June 26, 2017.
The Assembly Higher Education Committee will meet on Thursday, February 8 at 10:00 a.m. in Committee Room 9, which is located on the 3rd floor of the State House Annex in Trenton.
