Assembly Panel to Hear Testimony & Vote on Marijuana Legalization Referendum Bill Thursday

Assembly Appropriations to Review More than 70 Bills During Mid-Morning Scheduled Committee Meeting

 

(TRENTON) – The Assembly Oversight, Reform and Federal Relations Committee will receive testimony Thursday on legislation (ACR-840), which proposes a constitutional amendment to legalize cannabis for personal, non-medical use by adults who are 21 years or older, subject to regulation by the subsequently formed Cannabis Regulatory Commission.

The hearing will begin at 10:00 AM in Committee Room 16, 4th Floor, State House Annex in Trenton, New Jersey.

The Assembly Appropriations Committee will convene at 11:00 AM in Committee Room 11, 4th Floor, State House Annex, in Trenton, New Jersey. Its full agenda can be found here.
