October 5th, 2017
Princeton – Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker and Roy Freiman, the two Democratic Assembly candidates, have been endorsed by the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police in New Jersey’s 16th Legislative District.
With 328,000 members, the FOP is the world’s largest organization of law enforcement officers. The New Jersey State Lodge was formed in 1948, and has more than 16,000 members
“I am honored to receive the support of the New Jersey FOP,” said Assemblyman Zwicker. “We owe our safety and peace of mind to the men and women who make up the Fraternal Order of Police. Every day, these law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to protect our families. As assemblyman, I believe it is my duty to do everything I can to stand with these officers and their families. I am grateful for the endorsement and for the service of the men and women in the NJ FOP.”
“Thank you to the New Jersey Fraternal Order of Police for their support,” said Freiman. “It is a privilege to earn their support.” As Assemblyman, I will work hard to make sure they always have an advocate in Trenton.”
The 16th Legislative District includes the townships of Delaware, Raritan, Readington,
Branchburg, Hillsborough, Montgomery, and South Brunswick, the Princeton municipality and
the Manville, Millstone, Rocky Hill, Flemington, and Somerville boroughs.
