Assemblyman Peters, Assemblywoman Stanfield to hold March town hall
EVESHAM – Ask questions, learn about your district and hear about the priorities of your local legislators at the 8th Legislative District Town Hall on Monday, March 9.
Assemblywoman Jean Stanfield and Assemblyman Ryan Peters will be hosting the town hall at the Gibson House on 535 E. Main Street from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
People will have a chance to sign in from 5:30 to 6 p.m., when there will be packets of general, helpful state information. The 8th District legislators will speak for about a half an hour before opening up for questions for the rest of the night.
“As elected officials, it is our job to make sure the people who put us here have an avenue to speak to us and tell us what their priorities are. It’s also important to make sure we’re transparent and they know exactly how we’re representing them,” Stanfield said.
“Please come out to the Gibson House, ask us questions and get familiar with your local legislators. We’re here to serve you, and like any good business, feedback is how you make enhancements and change for the better,” Peters said.
Stanfield and Peters will be hosting a series of general public town halls and specialty ones for seniors, veterans and other groups. Stay up to date on when and where they will take place by following them on Facebook @aswstanfield and @asmryanpeters, or sign up for Assemblyman Peters’ newsletter at ryanepeters.com.
