ASSEMBLYMAN WEBBER WON’T STAND WITH WOMEN OF NJ-11

ASSEMBLYMAN WEBBER WON’T STAND WITH WOMEN OF NJ-11

Fairfield, NJ — Making up 51 percent of New Jersey’s 11th Congressional District, women are ready for new leadership in Congress and leaders who will stand up for families in this community. U.S. Navy veteran, former federal prosecutor, and mother of four Mikie Sherrill is running for Congress to make sure women are treated fairly in the workplace, have access to care to keep our families healthy, and are protected from gun violence carried out by domestic abusers. Sherrill is running against Assemblyman Jay Webber, a career politician who spent the last decade voting against the women of New Jersey.

“The women of New Jersey deserve a representative in Congress who will use their voice to stand up for equality and reproductive freedom,” said Mikie Sherrill. “It is clear that after a decade in Trenton, Assemblyman Webber has, time and again, used his voice and his vote to try and turn back the clock on women’s rights. We need look no further than his voting record to know Assemblyman Jay Webber is out of step with the women of this district.”

The contrast in priorities is clear to see:
