Assemblywoman Murphy on Fiscal Budget Reports Delivered to Assembly Budget Committee

(TRENTON) – Upon the Assembly Budget Committee receiving testimony today from the State Treasurer and the Office of Legislative Services on New Jersey’s 2020 and 2021 fiscal year budgets, Assemblywoman Carol Murphy (D-Burlington), a member of the committee, released the following statement:

“Today’s hearing provided a lot of helpful information for our committee and was eye-opening about the status of New Jersey’s budget. This pandemic has changed the way our state must plan for the future and make decisions about our investments.

“The well-being of our residents will always be our top priority. This committee will take what we learned today and continue to monitor the ongoing financial situation to help us make the best possible choices on behalf of New Jersey families.

“Thank you to the State Treasurer and the Office of Legislative Services for providing your testimony this morning.”
