Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin and Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak Announce 2019 Reelection Bid

(Edison) – Assemblymembers of New Jersey’s 18th Legislative District, Assemblywoman Nancy Pinkin (D-East Brunswick) and Assemblyman Robert Karabinchak (D-Edison) announced their 2019 reelection campaign to the New Jersey General Assembly this week.

The candidates jointly stated: “It has been an honor to serve the residents of the 18th District in Trenton and around town. We will continue to return state dollars back to the district, negotiate for fair school district funding, advocate for healthier and safer communities, protect our environment, and prioritize transportation infrastructure projects. We’re asking for your support this year as we seek re-election in November!”

On Monday March 11th Middlesex County Democratic Organization committee members from the 18th Legislative District selected Pinkin and Karabinchak as their candidate of choice in the Assembly.

Pinkin was first elected to the Assembly in 2013 after serving 8 years as a Councilwoman on the East Brunswick Town Council and currently serves as the Assembly Deputy Speaker Pro Tempore and the Chairwoman of the Assembly’s Environment and Solid Waste Committee. Karabinchak was appointed to the Assembly in May 2016 and re-elected in 2017 after serving 8 years as a Councilman on the Edison Town Council and currently serves as the Deputy Whip for the Assembly Majority and Vice-Chair of Commerce & Economic Development Committee in Trenton.

The 2019 Primary Election Day is set for Tuesday June 4th and the General Election is set for Tuesday November 5th of this year.
