BASHAW CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES “FILL UP JERSEY” FOOD TOUR
NJ Senate Candidate Vows to Fill Up on Jersey Food
by Visiting 21 Jersey Restaurants in 21 Counties
CAPE MAY — After Bashaw suffered an episode of dizziness during last night’s debate due to a lack of food, Curtis Bashaw for United States Senate today announced the “Fill Up Jersey” Food Tour, where he will be filling up on the Garden State’s most delicious food for the next four weeks.
Bashaw will visit 21 New Jersey restaurants in each of the state’s 21 counties, sampling tasty Jersey delicacies from each one, ensuring he won’t go hungry for the rest of the campaign.
“New Jersey has the best pizza, bagels, cheese fries, and of course, iconic pork roll sandwiches,” said Bashaw. “My team tells me I need to eat more on the trail, so I’m embarking on a 21 day food tour to fill up on Jersey food and visit with the restaurant owners and workers responsible for making our communities great.
Bashaw continued, “We also want to know from our friends and supporters — which place in New Jersey has the best pizza? Where can we find the best burger? Who makes the best bagels? What’s your favorite breakfast spot? Let us know on social media, and we’ll let you know our favorite places too.”
The first restaurant Bashaw will visit is in his hometown of Cape May:
Uncle Bill’s Pancake House
Tuesday, October 8th, 12:45 PM
261 Beach Avenue
Cape May, NJ 08204
