BASHAW CAMPAIGN: MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY POLL SHOWS MAJORITY OF INDEPENDENT NJ VOTERS WON’T SUPPORT DEMOCRAT ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE

MONMOUTH UNIVERSITY POLL SHOWS MAJORITY OF INDEPENDENT NJ VOTERS WON’T SUPPORT DEMOCRAT ESTABLISHMENT CANDIDATE

  • NJ Voters Ready to Make a Change from Murphy Menendez Machine this Fall
  • Curtis Bashaw is the only Republican candidate with the resources and the ability to Compete Statewide in November

CAPE MAY — The campaign for Curtis Bashaw for United States Senate today released the following statement in response to a recent Monmouth University poll showing more than half of Independent voters do not support the leading establishment Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate.

Jeanette Hoffman, spokesperson for Curtis Bashaw for U.S. Senate, released the following statement:

“While there’s a long way to go until November, the Monmouth University poll today shows many of New Jersey’s Independent voters, who may ultimately decide this race, already have their minds made up about the Democrat establishment candidate, Tammy Murphy — and the majority of them (51%) won’t support her.  This shows New Jerseyans are ready to make a change from the decades of disastrous Murphy-Menendez establishment politicians, who are more focused on cutting backroom deals than they are on delivering results for New Jersey families and taxpayers.

“This poll also shows that candidates will need significant resources to introduce themselves and deliver their message to New Jersey voters. Curtis Bashaw is the only candidate with the resources to compete against the Murphy-Menendez Democrat machine statewide, and he is the only candidate in the GOP primary who has competed to be on the ballot in every single county. Finally, in strong contrast with the Democrat machine politicians, Curtis Bashaw is an outsider and a job creator who is not afraid to fight for New Jersey taxpayers to close the border, strengthen our economy, and deliver for New Jersey families. He is the only Republican candidate with the message and resources who can win this November.”

Bashaw recently won the endorsement of the Somerset County Republican Committee last night, making him the only Republican candidate to have a broad, statewide coalition of County line endorsements.
