GOP Base Counties Out-performing Democratic Machine Counties
CAPE MAY — With unprecedented early voting turnout numbers, on Day 3 of New Jersey Early Voting, registered Republican voters have exceeded the number of registered Democratic voters in participating in in-person Early Voting.
Early Voting in-person vote totals as of Monday, October 28th, are as follows:
Democrats: 139,999
Republicans: 144,644
Unaffiliated: 94,149
Other: 2,355
TOTAL: 381,147
KEY FINDINGS:
---Turn out is strong in Republican base counties of Monmouth, Morris, and Ocean, demonstrating tremendous enthusiasm for the GOP ticket.
---Comparatively, the traditional Democratic strongholds of Essex and Hudson have seen weaker Democratic voter turnout.
---Swing Counties, such as Bergen, Burlington, Middlesex, and Somerset, have seen nearly even early ballots cast between registered voters in both parties.
