“Searching for a job in today’s economy can be a daunting and stressful task,” Senator Beck said. “This fantastic facility has everything a job seeker might need.”

The Monmouth County Workforce Development Board and the Monmouth County Division of Workforce Development hosted a ribbon cutting Monday for their new One-Stop Career Center in Eatontown. Beck was among a group of local leaders that attended the event and took a tour of the new facility.

The One-Stop center is home to a number of services designed to help local residents in their quest to find a new job. At the center, job seekers can work on their computer skills, get help with their resume and even work towards getting their GED.

There are two One-Stop centers in Monmouth County, the new one at 17 Christopher Way, in Eatontown, and one at 60 Taylor Ave., in Neptune. The career centers are just one part of the Division of Workforce Development’s countywide services that include career fairs, weekly seminars and youth counselling.

“The Division of Workforce Development provides our residents with every opportunity they need to work toward getting a good job,” Senator Beck said. “This new center will give them the ability to reach even more parts of our community, and help even more people find employment.”
