Bell Statement on Stockton Poll Revealing Deadlocked LD2 Senate Race

(Northfield, NJ) — Senator-select Colin Bell released a statement today following the release of Stockton University’s poll in the 2nd Legislative District revealing the race for State Senate deadlocked at 46% each.

“I’m grateful that my positive message of property tax relief for middle-class families and bringing new jobs and industries to our region is resonating with voters across Atlantic County. As a 5th generation Atlantic County resident I know this isn’t just my campaign, it’s a campaign for every Atlantic County voter who has had enough of Chris Christie and his allies like Chris Brown. Now more than ever, we need fresh honest leadership in Trenton that can shake things up for our middle-class and small businesses. I did it on the Freeholder Board and I’ll do it again in the Senate.

Stockton’s poll only proves what I’ve been saying for months, Atlantic County’s hard-working middle-class families are sick of Chris Brown’s lies and deception. The truth is over his three terms in office he voted with Chris Christie 90% of the time. I’m running for Senate because unlike Chris Brown I’ll never lie about my record. Instead, I’ll stand up to Christie and his allies and I’ll always put Atlantic County first.”
