After eight weeks of community mobile testing, 30 locations, and participation from 77% of Bergen County municipalities, we have administered 24,528 COVID-19 tests. These are outstanding numbers and once again, I must reiterate how proud I am of our mobile testing team for managing this outstanding operation day-in day out.

Remember, the virus has subsided in Bergen County and across the state thanks to our collective social distancing efforts. However, that does not mean we are out of this. There is still no cure nor any proven treatment therapy out there.

This 4th of July weekend, I urge you and your family to please take extra precaution as we anticipate that an uptick in the spread of cases. Please continue to practice cautionary measures. That means wearing a mask when going out and keeping social circles small. If you find that after this weekend, you may have been exposed to someone with the virus or a large group setting, please get tested at one of our locations next week. We need to make testing part of our new normal.
