Bergen County Building Trades endorses Murphy for Re-election

Governor Murphy’s leadership is ‘exactly what our state needs’ at this critical time in our history

(June 22, 2021 – Paramus, NJ): Today, the Bergen County Building & Construction Trades Council has endorsed Phil Murphy for re-election to his second term as governor of New Jersey.

“Governor Murphy has a proven track record of being a champion for working families of Bergen County and we, the 25,000 members of the Bergen County Building & Trades Council, are proud to endorse his re-election,” said Rick Sabato, president of the council.

Sabato added, “Amidst the chaos and uncertainty in the early days of the pandemic, Governor Murphy recognized the need to ensure the safety and health of our residents while at the same time understanding how important it was to support the economic development initiatives that kept our economy moving forward. That type of thoughtful, balanced, leadership is exactly what our state needs as we emerge from this pandemic.”
