Bergen County Celebrates Senior Center Volunteers

(Hackensack) – Over the past few weeks, in recognition of April as National Volunteer Appreciation Month and May as Older Americans Month, Bergen County has celebrated the contributions of more than 200 volunteers who make a difference throughout the year at each of the county-owned senior activity centers. Bergen County’s senior centers provide opportunities for older adults to remain active, socialize with friends, and participate in educational and recreational programming.
