Bergen County Clerk Continues Voter Registration Drive at Bergen County High Schools

Bergen County Clerk, John S. Hogan and staff continued their 2018 voter registration drive on Thursday, May 24. The Bergen County Clerk’s office gives a voice to those who are eligible to vote and to empower youth in general. New voters continue to grow, culminating in a large scale voting drive that the Clerk’s office has focused on for many years.

Mr. Hogan and his team made great strides on Thursday, May 24 because over 500 students showed up at Ridgefield Park High School to hear Clerk Hogan speak about the importance of voting and the impact each individual has when casting their vote at EVERY election and not just for the presidential election. There were over 500 high school students in attendance at Ridgefield Park and Hogan’s staff registered over 140 17 and 18 year olds.

After Ridgefield Park, Hogan and his staff spoke to 150 students from Bergen Tech in Teterboro where they registered 50 more high school seniors. On June 1, Clerk Hogan will speak to the in-coming Freshman at Bergen Community College and continue his voter registration drive.
